Fantastic Summer Part 1

We are having a terrific summer and since right now I am waiting for the laundry to finish and I don't feel like getting out of my comfy pajamas yet, I am going to share some of our summer with you all.

Our summer started off with a big bang when we bought our new to us car and promptly took it on a road trip.

Turns out we don't have a picture of new car.... It's a 2005 Ford Freestyle.  It is a 6 seater so right now we have tons of cargo space..LOVE!  We bought the car on June 22 and left for Oak Harbor, Washington on June 24.

First we headed out to Vancouver.  We took it pretty easy and tried to stop along the way and enjoy the sights.  Matt loves to read all the historical information, so we let him do that.
We went to the Langley, B.C Temple

We went to Stanley Park in Vancouver and visited the aquarium and the totem poles

After our little excursion in Vancouver it was off to our main destination in Oak Harbor.  We went to go visit with my Aunt Ruby and her Family.  They live in a beautiful and interesting area.

Nest stop was Seattle.  Matt has always liked Seattle for some reason so he really wanted to check it out.  We mostly drove around, then we also checked out the Chittendom Locks which was neat.  I was just drooling over the nice boats and dreaming of having one myself.

The trip was a great start to our summer and it doesn't feel like we stopped since.  More to come later.
