Catching up... another summer almost gone.

Well... here we are.  Another summer almost come and gone.   It really feels like it is ending as my oldest will be going to kindergarten in a few days.  He's excited and I'm happy for him, I just can't believe that I will have something to make me leave my house every day!

We have had such a nice summer.  Fun and Sun and Camping!!!

 So much fun camping,  We camped at a ward campout this summer in Magrath, we went to Crimson Lake for a week with the Paynes followed by a week at Rosen Lake with the Wildes.  We went to Chinook lake just the four of us for a few days and concluded with another great trip to Crimson Lake with the MacDonalds.  That's definitely the last trip for this pregnant lady but as I write this Aiden and Daddy are away for the night for a boys' backpacking trip.  Matt gets to try out all his backpacking stuff he has bought and they get to have some great quality time together.  They were both so excited.

We had a wonderful day celebrating Julia's first Birthday.  We went to the temple and while we were there sent off some birthday balloons to Julia.  Later we also had cake to celebrate.  Even though, or I guess because, she can't be with us, she has truly changed us forever.  The emotions are very difficult at times but we truly feel blessed and grateful for her, and most of all that we know we are a forever family and will see her again.

And this one because it makes me laugh so hard.   We were on holiday for 2 1/2 weeks or so, so Matt was able to grow an awesome beard.  He thought it would be fun to shave off in stages and thought this mustache looked great.... I say eww.

That's just a little snippet, a quick update of our lives.  We are very excited for our new baby to arrive.  We are very much looking forward to having a baby to hold in our arms.  I'm due mid October... but crossing fingers and toes that maybe I can  have this baby more towards the beginning of October.  :)  I've been nesting something fierce... painting the kitchen, bathroom and baby's room, refinishing a dresser, rearranging rooms 3 times over and the end is not in sight!
